Updates

The competition table will be an octagon. Eight SumoBots will compete at a time in a King of the Hill contest. Please note that the 2016 Rules were updated on November 12th at the second Workshop and that the centre hole has been replaced by a ramp with a coloured strip indicating a path to climb it.

Competition Rules

The competition format is again a SumoBot competition. Please read the rules carefully.

  • The 2016 Robotics Competition format and rules: [here]
  • The Engineering Report is due Friday November 18th by 5:00 via email (see template below for details). Please note that a late penalty of 10% of the total assigned grade per 24 hours will be applied for late submissions. Please be sure to download both parts, the template and the rubric. Please also note that the report will be scored and included in the competition as per the 2016 rules.
